TCNL Support
TCNL is a self-supporting laboratory. We are deeply appreciative for monetary and in-kind support from a variety of public, private, and internal sources. A partial list includes the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and the University of Wisconsin Graduate School. For details please see our active support and past support pages, which include links to progress reports for many of our funded projects.
We also depend on individual donations to advance promising early-stage research that is not yet ready to attract major grants or private investment. If you are interested in supporting our work, please contact the University of Wisconsin Foundation about the Tactile Communication & Neurorehabilitation Lab Fund. For a list of previous donations to this fund, see Gifts received.
Because TCNL's mission was inspired by neuroplasticity pioneer Paul Bach-y-Rita, a memorial lecture series fund was also established in his honor.
